Senior Python Engineer

About the role

Design, develop, and scale core backend systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications for AI platforms.

Tasks

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code utilizing advanced Python features, asynchronous programming, concurrency, and OOP design patterns.
• Deploy production workloads and manage containerized systems using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines on major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Optimize relational database interactions using SQLAlchemy (or equivalent ORMs), write complex SQL queries, and model high-performance data workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and support AI-powered applications, intelligent automation systems, and data platforms.

Requirements

• Must be currently local to Arizona (Phoenix area).
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 6+ years of dedicated, hands-on Python development.
• Deep understanding of Python internals, data structures, algorithms, memory management, performance tuning, and debugging.
