Key Responsibilities Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals. Develop engaging lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities. Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and stakeholders about student progress and challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive student support. Maintain accurate records of student performance to inform educational decisions and compliance. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and community outreach to enhance student educational experiences. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education is required. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and staff. Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting teaching methods. Preferred certifications in special education and knowledge of modern teaching methodologies. Familiarity with IEP management systems and relevant educational software. 1-3 years of experience in special education teaching preferred.
