Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and stakeholders about student progress and challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive support.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance to inform educational decisions and compliance.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and community outreach to enhance the educational experience.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education (required).
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and staff.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
• Preferred certifications in special education and familiarity with modern teaching methodologies.
• Proficiency with educational software, including IEP management systems.
• 1-3 years of experience in special education teaching preferred.
