Ingramspark is hiring a part-time Technical Support Specialist in Texas City, Texas. This on-site role pays $30 per hour and is an opportunity to use your technical and customer service skills in a supportive, learning-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers by phone, email, and chat, responding to technical questions and resolving issues promptly.
- Diagnose hardware and software problems and escalate complex cases when needed.
- Help install and configure software and applications for end users.
- Record and track support requests in the ticketing system and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Contact customers after support interactions to confirm their issues are resolved.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss recurring challenges and share solutions.
- Help improve support processes and technical documentation.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in information technology or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Familiarity with common operating systems and software applications.
- One to two years of technical support experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts is preferred.
