Thermal Test Engineer

Tasks

• Lead hardware validation of thermal management components and subsystems.
• Test, debug, and validate vehicle thermal hardware and firmware.
• Develop test plans and automate test execution, data collection, and analysis.
• Perform root cause investigations and document test findings.
• Coordinate validation schedules, resources, and reporting.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering background.
• Strong knowledge of CAN communication.
• Python, Pytest, Git, and/or C programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with lab and test equipment such as DAQs, pressure transducers, flow meters, and temperature sensors.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, refrigeration, and coolant systems.
• Junior-level candidates are welcome.
• Preferred Universities: University of Waterloo, Concordia University, UC San Diego, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), University of Michigan, Texas A&M University, Purdue University.
• Preferred: CI/CD pipelines, Linux-based development environments, high-voltage and low-voltage component validation, environmental chamber testing, electrical troubleshooting.
