Job description
Blue Wonders Consultancy is hiring a full-time Web Designer in Makati City, National Capital Region, Philippines. This on-site role is an opportunity to create engaging, user-friendly websites and strengthen clients’ online presence through thoughtful visual design and reliable web experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement visually appealing, user-friendly website layouts using HTML and CSS.
- Collaborate with UX/UI colleagues to improve usability, navigation, and design features.
- Update and revise web pages to maintain functionality, accuracy, and visual quality.
- Apply SEO best practices to website design and page structure.
- Manage the company’s WordPress website, keeping content current and engaging.
- Partner with project managers and developers to deliver web projects from concept through deployment.
- Gather feedback from colleagues and stakeholders and use it to improve designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design or a related field.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with a solid understanding of UX/UI design principles.
- Basic knowledge of SEO strategies and implementation.
- Experience with WordPress, including themes and plugins.
- Two to three years of experience in web design or a similar role.
- Web design or user experience certifications are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
