Traveling Dental Assistant Periodontist

About the role

Join Tmanagement, a group of patient-centered dental practices, and support the Periodontist across multiple locations.

Travel schedule:

• Start Smiling Dental — every other Thursday in Sandy Springs, GA.
• Life Point Dental — alternating Thursdays, PRN/as needed, in Jefferson, GA.
• Midtown Center — Wednesdays in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments.
• Provide patient charting support and patient care.
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Take X-rays as required.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of dental assistant experience preferred, and 1 year of surgical experience in periodontics or oral surgery.
• Current certification for Expanded Duties (Certified Dental Assistant).
• Current certification for Infection Control.
• Proficiency in dental software systems; Open Dental is a plus.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and materials.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• CPR certification preferred.
