About the role

Powell & Meadows Insurance Agency is an independent, multi-location agency serving individuals, families, and businesses across Tennessee.

Tasks

• Serve as the primary service contact for a book of insurance clients by phone, email, and in person
• Process policy changes, endorsements, billing questions, certificates of insurance, and cancellations accurately and on time
• Prepare and manage renewals, including remarketing accounts and presenting options to clients
• Gather information and submit quotes to carriers for new and existing clients
• Review coverages with clients, identify gaps, and work with producers to recommend appropriate solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency procedures in our agency management system
• Communicate with carriers and underwriters to resolve issues and follow up on open items
• Support claims reporting and help clients through the claims process
• Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and Tennessee insurance regulations

Requirements

• Active Tennessee Property & Casualty license, or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and fo
• A friendly, professional manner and a genuine desire to help people
