Failure Analysis & Validation Engineer

Tasks

• Develop and execute DOEs for silicon-, board-, and system-level failure validation.
• Perform server platform bring-up and configure test stations for NPI and production.
• Debug hardware, firmware, drivers, power, thermal, PCIe, and memory failures.
• Analyze system logs, telemetry, and test data to identify failure patterns.
• Develop and validate diagnostics, stress tests, and functional tests.
• Perform failure reproduction, isolation, and root cause analysis.
• Develop automation scripts for failure analysis workflows.
• Configure and maintain Windows- and Linux-based server environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, failure analysis reports, and dashboards.
• Support lab optimization and travel to contract manufacturing sites for bring-up and training.

Requirements

• 10+ Years
• Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
• Experience in semiconductor testing, debugging, and post-silicon validation.
• Knowledge of GPU/CPU architecture, PCIe, memory, power management, and thermal control.
• Hands-on experience with firmware, driver, OS, and hardware debugging.
• Experience with PVT characterization, voltage, temperature, and frequency margining.
• Programming experience in Python, Shell Scripting, C++, C#, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and thermal cameras.
