FHIR/HL7 Developer

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing and supporting healthcare interfaces using HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Strong experience in healthcare data exchange, data mapping, transformation, validation, troubleshooting, and error handling.
• 5+ years of experience developing secure web portals or portal-integrated services.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
• Strong understanding of FHIR standards, healthcare interoperability, and FHIR APIs.
• Experience with US Core profiles, Electronic Case Reporting (eCR), and HL7 Implementation Guides.
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology standards: SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CVX, and RxNorm.
• Experience integrating healthcare applications with AWS cloud services and data platforms.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, logging, and monitoring.
• Preferred: AWS HealthLake, Snowflake, Electronic Initial Case Reporting (eICR), Public Health Reporting, Disease Surveillance, React, FastAPI, Terraform.
• Candidates must be local to Austin, TX (within a 50-mile radius).

Schedule

• Hybrid – 2 days onsite (Monday & Wednesday), 3 days remote
• Must be available to work onsite Monday and Wednesday.
• Three days remote per week.
