Java Data Engineer

Tasks

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications, services, and data pipelines using Java, Scala, and Python.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain large-scale ETL/ELT, batch, and streaming data pipelines.
• Work with Apache Spark, PySpark, and Scala-based data processing.
• Handle structured and unstructured data across relational databases, data lakes, and distributed platforms.
• Work with SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
• Implement messaging and streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Integrate AI and Generative AI capabilities using LLMs and AI APIs.
• Work with Prompt Engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and vector databases.
• Utilize AWS, Azure, or GCP along with modern CI/CD practices.
• Ensure application performance, testing, debugging, and production support.
