About the role
KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be the second line of support for the Production team, supporting the assembly, test, certification, and shipment of products.
You will work with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Sales to tackle new challenges. KLA teams of physicists, engineers, data scientists, and problem-solvers work together with technology providers to accelerate the delivery of future electronic devices.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain assembly work instructions, drawings, and other production documentation.
- Refine build sequences for system assembly, integration, and certification.
- Drive improvement projects to meet cycle time targets and product specifications.
- Initiate and drive Engineering Change Orders, structure bills of materials, and create test and assembly documentation as needed.
- Build, test, and qualify mechanical, electrical, and optical sub-assemblies and products.
- Work with suppliers to resolve low-yield and quality issues in a timely manner.
