Project Lead and Lead Accounting Consultant

Tasks

• The Project Lead & Lead Accounting Consultant is the Contractor’s manager for overall Contract delivery and shall serve as FAMLI’s key point of contact.
• They are responsible for overall management of contract operations, organizing, directing, and coordinating these efforts.
• They are responsible for performing overall management for Contract operations; organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and production of all Contract activities, projects, and support activities, including reach-back coordination with Contractor subject matter experts.

Requirements

• Candidate should be Local to Maryland or southern Pennsylvania
• 10+ years in financial management, accounting operations, financial systems implementation, or government program accounting.
• Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, internal controls, AR/AP operations, risk management, and accounting system design.
• Experience leading accounting modernization or financial transformation initiatives.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with PMBOK-based project management practices.

• The Project Lead & Lead Accounting Consultant will provide full-time support in each of the three base years of the Contract, and parttime support in the Contract’s option year.
