Project Manager – Technology | New York City, NY

TrothIT Inc is hiring a full-time Project Manager in New York City, New York. This on-site role is suited to a detail-oriented project management professional with 3–5 years of experience, especially in technology-focused environments. Join a collaborative team delivering technology solutions and coordinating with clients, developers, designers, and business analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and closeout to support successful delivery.
• Communicate with clients, manage expectations, and provide progress updates.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, resources, and project tasks.
• Monitor project performance and make adjustments to help keep work on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain project documentation, conduct risk assessments, and support compliance with industry standards.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups and project meetings to keep teams aligned and motivated.
• Track and report project success metrics and share insights for continuous improvement.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in a technology-focused environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, client communication, and team leadership.
• PMP or Agile Certified Practitioner certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

Team and Reporting

You will report to the Senior Project Director and work with developers, designers, business analysts, and other departments to align project objectives. The role is based in New York City and is not remote eligible.
