Key Responsibilities Perform rekeying services for a variety of lock types, ensuring each lock operates smoothly and securely. Assess customer needs through effective communication, providing solutions that enhance security. Manage inventory of keys and lock components, ensuring availability for scheduled service appointments. Conduct thorough inspections of locks and security systems, identifying areas for improvement or replacement. Assist customers with inquiries in a professional manner, fostering a positive company image. Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and techniques, enhancing the overall service quality. Maintain accurate records of service provided and inventory used, ensuring compliance with company policies. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma is required; additional locksmithing certifications are preferred. Proficiency in locksmithing techniques and knowledge of different lock mechanisms. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, able to diagnose issues effectively. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Sales skills are beneficial, as you may engage with clients for upselling additional services. Experience with inventory management practices is a plus.
