About the role
On the Amazon Java Runtime (JRT) team.
Tasks
- We design and develop next-generation garbage collection and compiler improvements, drive runtime performance, and land original contributions upstream in OpenJDK.
- We exploit the Amazon Graviton (AArch64) architecture for every last cycle - tuning the JVM down to the hardware.
