Main Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Category Management position leads a team that serves as an internal business consultant building Albertsons customer focused strategy.

Mine multiple sources of internal and external data to derive meaningful insights (internal data bases, IRI, Nielsen and Customer Data)Review data, identify critical information, analyze and develop hypothesis to make recommendations to broader audience Combine analytical expertise and research to answer and deliver insights to the business in ways that make significant impactsCommunication and influence so consumer insights are at core of decisions and ensure you are the fact based, independent and unbiased voice in all conversationsBuild deep understanding of the business to appropriately develop meaningful dash boards & insights

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following

Preferred education is a Bachelors’ degreePreferred experience is 5 plus years in category management, data analysis, consumer insights or related experienceExperience in Retail Grocery Category ManagementExtensive experience synthesizing information from large data sets from multiple sources (internal/vendor/syndicated industry)Expert knowledge in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10%
