Storeroom Inventory Specialist / Inventory Coordinator in Newport Beach, CA

Cohr Tech is seeking a detail-oriented Storeroom Inventory Specialist / Inventory Coordinator to join our team in Newport Beach, CA. This contract role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring smooth storeroom operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels through regular stock audits and reconciliations.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments to verify quantities and quality standards.
• Organize and allocate inventory efficiently to optimize storeroom space and accessibility.
• Prepare and maintain precise inventory records and reports for management review.
• Collaborate with team members and departments to fulfill inventory requests and improve processes.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records promptly.
• Support the implementation of inventory management best practices and policies.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in inventory management or related field.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment is a plus.

This position works closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure adherence to inventory practices and smooth supply chain operations. Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, you will also coordinate with procurement and other departments as needed.
