Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team. Below are the desired qualities we are looking for: 1. 5 plus years experience preparing individual tax returns for clients in a public accounting firm setting 2. Supervise an entry level team of tax preparers 3. Review past returns and collect new data to prepare current year tax returns 4. Give advice to clients on future tax planning and communicate with clients about upcoming tax requirements 5. Be able to communicate and interact with ease with clients as well as other staff. Verbal and written communication skills are essential 6. Organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines throughout the day 7. Experience with Ultra Tax and Quickbooks preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Tax Preparation and understanding of Tax laws Experience with analyzing and drafting Financial Statements Knowledge of general Tax and Finance principles Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent communication and client management skills Ability to work onsite in Brentwood, TN CPA certification or eligibility to sit for CPA exam is highly preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Key Skills Qualifications Proficiency in Tax Preparation and understanding of Tax laws Experience with analyzing and drafting Financial Statements Knowledge of general Tax and Finance principles Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent communication and client management skills Ability to work onsite in Brentwood, TN CPA certification or eligibility to sit for CPA exam is highly preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
