Job description
Bluebix Solutions is hiring a full-time Tax Manager to work onsite in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role is ideal for an experienced public accounting tax professional who can oversee individual tax return preparation, supervise junior preparers, and advise clients on tax planning and filing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual client tax returns, drawing on at least five years of public accounting experience.
- Supervise and support an entry-level team of tax preparers.
- Review prior-year returns, gather current-year information, and prepare accurate tax returns.
- Advise clients on future tax planning and communicate upcoming tax requirements.
- Analyze and draft financial statements and apply relevant tax laws and finance principles.
- Manage multiple projects, organize priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in writing and verbally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in tax preparation and a strong understanding of tax laws.
- Experience analyzing and drafting financial statements.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, client management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Brentwood, TN.
- CPA certification or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is highly preferred.
- Experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks is preferred.
