About the role
Neurophos is rethinking inference compute to address the energy demands of data centers and AI. Its silicon photonics and active, programmable metasurface perform matrix multiplications at the speed of light. The company says its optical cells are 10,000x smaller than traditional photonic components and its architecture will deliver up to 100 times the energy efficiency of existing solutions while improving performance for large-scale AI inference.
The VP of Systems owns development of inference servers and racks, including electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering for full-scale products. The role reports to the SVP of Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Own system development from boards and interconnect through end-to-end power and high-speed-channel budgets and full system bring-up.
- Connect optical processing units (OPUs), integrate them into the rack, and ensure the system boots, runs, and passes qualification.
