Automotive Shop Service Manager

Key Responsibilities Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently and meet customer expectations. Manage a team of automotive technicians and service advisors, providing guidance and support to enhance performance. Develop and maintain customer relationships, addressing concerns and inquiries to improve service quality. Monitor inventory levels and order parts as needed to ensure continuous service availability. Implement effective scheduling to optimize technician workloads and improve turnaround times. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates and foster teamwork. Utilize performance metrics to evaluate the success of service delivery and identify areas for improvement. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Proven customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients in both English and Spanish. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience in team management and leadership, ideally within an automotive service environment. Familiarity with automotive systems and repair processes preferred. Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
