Performance Testing Lead

🚀 WE ARE HIRING – PERFORMANCE TESTING LEAD
📍 Location: Sacramento, CA
⏳ Duration: 12+ Months / Long-Term Contract
We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Lead to lead enterprise-scale performance testing initiatives, drive performance engineering strategies, and ensure applications meet defined performance SLAs.
🔹 Mandatory Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in Performance Testing / Performance Engineering for large-scale enterprise systems.
4+ years of experience leading performance testing teams and managing test cycles.
4+ years of experience designing end-to-end performance test strategies, workload modeling, scripting, execution, and reporting.
Strong experience in Load, Stress, Endurance, and Spike Testing.
Hands-on experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Elastic or equivalent.
Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs, validating latency, throughput, and error handling.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Micro Focus ALM, or similar tools.
Strong SQL skills for test data preparation and validation.
Expertise in bottleneck analysis, performance tuning, and SLA validation.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or Engineering (or equivalent qualifying experience).
🔹 Desirable Qualifications:
10+ years of overall Performance Testing / Engineering experience.
7+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale performance programs.
Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Experience with cloud-based / SaaS performance testing, autoscaling, and distributed load strategies.
Experience supporting large-scale benefits systems such as Unemployment Insurance or Disability Insurance.
Certifications such as ISTQB CT-PT or OpenText LoadRunner Professional.
Master's degree in Business Administration, IT, or Engineering.
