Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights for improvement. Coordinate and support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors as necessary. Maintain financial records and systems, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Review and implement internal controls to enhance the efficiency of financial processes. Provide support and mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. In-depth knowledge of Accounting Principles and practices. Preferred 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
