Job description
Dempsey Resource Management inc is hiring a full-time Senior Accountant in Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines. Join a collaborative finance team and help maintain financial accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and support the company’s financial health. This is an on-site position reporting to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist with budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and provide recommendations.
- Coordinate the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
- Maintain accurate, timely financial records and accounting systems.
- Review and implement internal controls to improve financial processes.
- Support and mentor junior accounting staff.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Five or more years of experience in a similar accounting role preferred.
- Proficiency with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP.
- CPA certification or equivalent is a plus.
Team and Work Environment
Work with experienced finance professionals and newer team members in an environment that encourages open communication and collaboration. Partner with cross-functional teams to help ensure consistent, reliable financial reporting.
Compensation and Employment
Full-time position with stated pay of 1400000 per year. The job is not remote eligible.
